Made this little Update 7 map today. At 255x255, it has lots of neat verticality and semi-creative terrain.

Should provide lots of opportunities for creative use of the hypertubes and ziplines . . . And dynamite. (You can never have too many uses for things that go boom)

The terrain is riddled with caves, though most of these are of pre-castorian nature.

Description:
A region riddled with the pre-castorian ruins, this place features towering terrace pedestals, pyramids and waters both treacherous and safe. Many a kit has wondered if even more was buried during the fall.

Near the region's center lies a mysterious terraced structure presumably built by the Old Ones. If the ruins at its southeastern corner are anything to go by, it once connected with the towering eastwards pathway atop which no beaver has ventured, yet which has intrigued many a kit.

To the northeast and southeast lie immense pyramids of unknown purpose and use.

Near the region's southern border lie a massive ruin of the old ones, presently inaccessible to all of castorkind.

In the northwest stand two and a half immense pedestal with scattered ruins on top, as well as the ruined remnants of a mysterious tower.

Perhaps most fascinating of all is the spectacular river going north alongside the central terraced structure and terminating at the falls behind the Castor Argonath, a pair of immense statues vaguely reminiscent of the first rulers of beaverkind.

A large map with varied geography and challenges that are both visible and hidden. Should not be too difficult to start out on, but its size will necessitate districts. The closest river is not the quickest, but it should serve initially.

Oh this is beautiful. I love the detail and how you mixed ruins and terrain to create your ancient architecture. This is a work of art!
