I can't complete this quest even though I gave the glue to Moca and the tree is fixed :(( the newspaper doesn't show the quest completed star :((( every time i go to moca's house i see him standing at the tree even though the tree has been fixed :((

oh and i can't find shears and bonsai 101 book either :(( (maybe because i haven't completed the mission yet?)

It sounds like it should be completed. If you can decorate Moca's home then it is since this is a prerequisite for decorating
