Visible Item Ownership Before Purchase

there is already a way to know if you own an item though I agree it would be nice to have a way of knowing how many we have

check the icons in the description. if there's a white book it means you own the item. if there is a book with a border but no colour, it means you have the item in your compendium but you don't own it at the moment (e.g if you had bought and sold it)
But I agree it'd be nice to have a feature to show how many of the item we own
