#Alter in-game animations to match a full-length parsnap gif

Apologies for the long title lol

This is probably too tedious to do, but I thought I'd suggest it either way since it's been on my mind for a bit benny_approves

So, as most of us know, you can make gifs in parsnap by holding down the picture button for an extended amount of time.
I've found this to be quite finicky when trying to line up the shoot to an animation in-game. Usually I just have to make it full-length and then edit the gif after the fact, since there's often a stutter in the animation making the loop look a bit wonky.

My suggestion is to alter some of the animations in the game in a way to make a full-length gif not stutter. This could be done by either adding a few key frames to the sprite, or removing some.

I know very well that this can't be done to the longer animations (or, rather, would be too much effort for the result) so I'm specifically requesting the existing short ones to be altered, or for future ones to be structured in a way to fit a full-length gif.

(Also, I don't think it'd be a good idea to alter the parsnap gif mechanic itself, as this most likely wouldn't solve the "issue")

But yeah, that's about it rosemary_approves

Would it also be possible for the gif recording to be longer? Some animations are too long for the longest size gifs of the parsnap camera, and it's hard not being able to fit all of the animation in one gif
-# (you have to make two separate gifs to capture different parts of the animation, or cut it in a way that the exact feel doesn't translate to the gif so well)

So making the gif longer/shorter should be possible too

Oh! Then maybe the camera could adjust the max gif length to be as long as the longest animation currently in game?
-# (and make it so that either subsequent animations are shorter, or that the max gif length is appropriately extended should a new longer animation come to be)

-# (sorry maybe we're extending too much on your suggestion with another one - lmk if you think it'd be more appropriate to make our own suggestion @hollow ether! I don't mean to intrude/dampen a conversation along your original suggestion on the gif animations)

I think that the issue could be worked around if (as an example) a character's idle animation would remain even throughout a full-length parsnap gif. Most animations in-game have some sort of "idle" aspect to them, which is often the main source to the loop stuttering. Like, a simple breathing cycle.
As long as the idle animation would be lined up, then (if gifs won't be extended) it'd at least be a heck of a lot easier to work with the recording rosemary_flowers_sparkles

Hope I'm making sense lmao
