A way to display exotic fish

I'm sure there are others just like me, having a number of cool & rare fish that they just dont want to sell off. It would be great if those fish could be displayed somewhere rather than being kept in the backpack.

What if you can buy shovels from pipi and dig out a lake?
The lake can hold the fish, plus it opens up possibilities for underwater plants n decos

Not to that extent, i was thinking it'd be just like how you can dig slots for farming with the hoe

The only way I see that as feasible, because aquariums were deemed too difficult too draw all frames, and that’s basically what this is, is if they’re just silhouettes, with a large, medium and small version. Then the fish are categorised like that and when put in the pond then they get that silhouette. And maybe the stingray and the clam could be in their own category’s because they don’t exactly look like regular fish (clam don’t really need an animation tho). That way the devs wouldn’t need to draw nearly as many fish.
