Newspaper quest bugged

So i got this quest but Pipi told me to make space in my bag, i did that and talked to her again but she wouldnt bring it up again, i talked to bobo and he was supposed to give me hot maple syrup but he did not give that to me either so the quest kinda just softlocked now.

My wife and I have had a similar problem. We each have had news paper articles that we couldn't get interaction with. Her quest line with bobo finished but she never got to do the middle quest talking with Dawn. And I never got any interaction from Benny.

We're both on Android as well.

i really hope this gets fixed eventually and the quest resets so people can actually play it

I had a different problem with the maple syrup candy quest today. I was able to receive the maple syrup jar, but I talked to Pipi again before I left her shop and she took back the empty(?) jar back then and there. I never took it to Bobo to have it boiled, but I still got the dialogue that I had and that it was hot. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So maybe that particular quest is bugged.

Doing the Rosemary spider quest and i think the game gave me the wrong item, i dont know what she would do with a maple syrup filled jar.

I am from iOs and, in the day when this newspaper appeared, I interacted with every character and every single one told me the basic things that they say everyday ( they didn’t say anything new that would make this quest start or continue)
