UI Changes

The developers have changed the UI of the main screen, but PLEASE do not change the UI of the Right Shift Mod Menu, that is perfect in every way, and if the developers are wanting to change the UI of Right Shift Menu too then please provide a toggle between the old and new UI, A toggle for the UI on the main screen would also be very good and helpful as the new UI looks low quality and lacks the Blur effect which makes it seem less premium

They probably are already working on changing the ui of the right shift menu, but i dont think that they will add an option to use the old ui, still not a bad suggestion

although i think the new design looks way more polished and professional and am pretty sure most people who say they dont like it are just so used to the old one I think having the option to toggle the legacy ui isnt a bad idea since it isnt hurting anybody and a lot of players seem to think that way

What part of the old UI did you like?

the blurry singleplayer, multiplayer, red store buttons, also those buttons at the bottom of the screen, they had background blur which looked so nice

and if ur changing the right shift menu then PLEASE add an option to revert back to old ui or any toggle cz the right shift menu is THE BIGGEST reason me and many of my friends migrated to lunar client

right shift menu is so perfect and nice looking

however, the resolution of that menu stays the same even beyond 2x gui scale which looks dirty

and also i prefer the old ui, it seperated the game ui from the launcher ui, instead of unifying everything, why not keep the old ui in the game and also make the newly added buttons look like in old ui style, that plain blurry background style, feather client also tries to unify ui of the launcher and game, but the result is always that lag in that ingame mod menu

im not asking to completely revert back to old one, im requesing to revert back to OLD UI ELEMENTS, the account switcher will be there but in that old ui style with that blurry background plain buttons

Lol if they turn that right shift menu the same theme as the new garbage main menu im out, they will be losing a 5 year+ customer. This seriously pisses me off.

If I was being rude, I could assume its incompetence, but giving them the benefit of the doubt - it could also be a lack of awareness as to how much better the old theme was. It is unknown if the developers behind this use lunar client on a consistent basis.

You don’t have to use Lunar Client. If you want to suggest something or say you prefer one ui over the other then there is a proper way to do it

it has improved significantly compared to release
but i still dont think it holds a candle to the oldui
i understand using the new webui makes developing much easier and quicker, and i do enjoy seeing the updates, but it would be nice to be able to go back to the oldui like we used to be able to by changing the branch

it's not that webui isn't responsive, it is
it is just slower compared to old ui
like the clicks take longer to register, when i select an emote the wheel takes longer to go away
when i exit the locker it takes a moment to close
just little things like that make the new webui feel bad for me

and this webui system is sooooo slow for users with bad internet, idk why but my old pc takes ages to load that ui

the old ui was so damn responsive, even on older hardware

im saying with my personal experience

my old pc has bad internet, i used lunar client and feather client on both of my wifi dongles, both clients' ui was loading late with the bad dongle, but fine with the good dongle

Sorry for the late response, for this one in particular you can customize the background blur through the Menu Blur mod in-game

That is just simply not true, the UI elements are loaded locally on your device. If it's slow, it's not your internet

Do you mind sharing what kind of hardware you're running? I'm I've been trying it out on my device (MacBook Pro with an M3 Pro chip) and I've seen 0 lag so far

I'd love it if they changed it, because you can't just redesign part of a UI with a new style, and not the rest... It's like doing homework in one sense and then changing the way you do it: the teacher won't understand why the old part is still there (sorry, I'm not good at giving examples).

in theme of UI changes I suggest to add in the launcher a second list of friends, the Badlion one, 'cause I play on both clients and in the launcher I only see my Lunar friends, and not the Badlion ones
