#Add waypoints by seed instead of ip

My home server updates its ip port every reset so i have to click on my older ips to see my waypoints. Adding a feature do link a "waypoint group" to a specific seed would resolve this little inconvenience (or just maintain waypoints from servers with different ports but same ip)

censored my port and world name just in case

Yeah seems like a good idea to be fair, or to have the ability to toggle them separately

BUMPY VERY IMPORTANT

so you mean when the ip changes, the waypoints should still be there?
i think waypoints are tied to IP addresses not seeds.

How is it not optimal?

Why would you want to have waypoints from your last hoplite game in your current one?

Like IP or seed

good idea but i dont think this is possible since the client doesnt have access to the world seed of a server

#

itd probably have to be a system that compares already loaded chunks to each other and if they are similar, the same waypoints get displayed

#

but that would probably be hard to code

even just transferring waypoints from one world to another could help

yeah it would be hard ig but if lunar adds something like that where old waypoints dont show up across server resets and new lobbies etc and maybe add some customization i will switch from wWaypoint / minimap
