Your growing Bedrock player base implores you to create a discord “Bedrock Addons” category with dedicated channels for each of your addons.
Among some notable Marketplace Partners to the Bedrock community, Oreville Studios & Panascais have this server format (pictured below) setup in their discord servers and it helps their communities navigate FAQs, change logs, bug issues, tech support, and find new friends for the specific content they purchased.
This suggestion shouldn’t even have to be something considered by upvote standards. This is something that will help you plan for future updates through an organized line of communication while also keeping your ever growing Bedrock player base informed.
FYI - Many of us that support this suggestion have already tried to use the #community-support to ask questions, but our concerns get lost in the Lunar Client java chatter. I assure you I’m not your only customer that has been ignored in these chat channels. Don’t take my word for it. Just look through the chat history for “cooking addon” conversations to see for yourself that this current discord server design isn’t optimal for everyone.
Some people see this server, take notice that they get ignored when asking questions about a new thing (addons) your discord server isn’t known for, and then end up leaving your server. That unintentionally creates a feeling of abandonment. I think we’re all aware that the server structure you’ve designed wasn’t intended to create this feeling. Your Bedrock player base just needs a small noticeable pond in this ocean of Java users you’ve successfully amassed over the years.
If you see this, thank you for taking the time to read it. I hope you consider a change.
