I would like to suggest a very simple but extremely useful PvP training mod for 1.8.9.
What the mod does:
-Detects when the player receives damage.
-Detects when the player is blocking with a sword.
-If both actions happen simultaneously, the mod plays a short sound.
Why this would be useful:
-This mod helps players practice blockhit timing
-It does not provide any unfair advantage in actual gameplay — it only gives feedback during training.
-Many players practice blockhit on duel/practice servers, and this would make training more efficient and fun.
-It fits perfectly with Lunar’s existing PvP-focused mods and community.
How it would work (simple explanation):
-On damage event → check if player is blocking
-If true → play a configurable “ping” sound
Optionally allow customization:
-Sound on/off
-Custom sound
-Only trigger if the block was on the exact tick (for advanced players)
