Dont force mod versions

It would be ideal if lunar wouldnt force specific versions of mods like sodium, sodium extra, reeses sodium options and more. I understand that it needs them to run so put your preffered version as default but let us change it. Also let us remove mods we dont use (replaymod)
I dont use replaymod or rewind mod and being forced to run the game with replaymod is anoying. Again i suggest you keep it as default but let us remove it mabye add a warning screen that you cant use rewind without it and then disable rewind in game.

Nothing you listed is being forced to use. You can select to play the default vanilla w/ no fabric mods (sodium etc) and u can literally turn on or off any of the lunar mods.

U just cant bro u delete replaymod and it reinstals itself

And when you add new versions of sodium it just installs the older version

if you add a newer version of sodium it should use that one because fabric only loads the newer version, just ignore the old mod file lunar adds

When you mod a default version of the game? So like i go into versions click 1.21 and go to the mods

i updated sodium on lunar 1.21.4 for example and it just worked even though lunar added an older version as well

Well then its just using the older version then no? Why would it add it if not?

because it doesnt check if you already have sodium added and it doesnt matter because fabric only loads the new version

you cant really disable the mods lunar adds but when you use a modpack in lunar sometimes it does have the option to disable the mods without it downloading them again but i dont think thats an intended feature at the moment

Btw i tried the sodium versions and when i download the newest one and lunar adds its own version then the game uses lunars version u were right that fabric preffers the newer version but lunar has its own system and doesnt nesseserly use the fabric one

When i check the mod version in game it says its running the version lunar added

yes, they force their own sodium version etc

You can disable the preinstalled mods and override/install your own

Note that disabling is totally different from uninstalling/removing the mod

Removing a mod will just redownload it on next launch
