basically a mod (that would probably be mainly for survival) that you can turn on by pressing a set keybind, that basically tracks your movements until you click that button again, and that it shows a visible path from when you started the mod. it'd be super helpful if you ever get lost :D it could even just be built into the waypoint mod honestly... and as a bonus feature it could have shadow backtrack that retraces your steps in case you forgot to start it.

this is basically hacks
well we have waypoints... but like instead it would just be a path you can follow from when you started- (its not like it leads you to diamonds or something) you could technically just do the same with waypoints even :|
so it would basically be like automatically setting a lot of waypoints but instead it shows as a line and doesnt fill the waypoint list?
uhh maybe? idk about setting a lot of waypoints but yeah it wouldnt fill the waypoints list
It's like bread-crumbs in metor
its basically not, its just waypoints but with a set path lmao.
Perhaps you should just name them something like routes
rather than backtrack
o yeah true
When would this mod be useful?
mb when you're in survival and you find the stronghold, but then you die and you didn't have the cords
Hey OP btw maybe you should add on to it "shadow backtrack", like in rewind
Use waypoints?
What happens if your pathing is weird
Like you went thru the nether then back out then you go to like a village idk
smartttt
good point
idk ._.
