recently, whilst i was scrolling #❓︱faq , i stumbled across the lunar client telegram channel. i was surprised to find out that it even exists, but then after joining i was quickly met with an inactive channel with no care given to it. seriously, why hasn't there been an update since 2024 and why hasn't there been any media since 2020???
with telegram being such a big app with users from all over the world, primarily india and russia. i was surprised to find that the channel was so inactive, and the fact that it is indeed, just a channel. telegram has support for groups, which is essentially just a discord server. although this would yes, require moderation, it would be a good way to reach other users who may have discord banned in their country, who cannot access a vpn.
although, if you do not want to look into making a telegram group, there are two options. either an end of life for the telegram group (as it hasn't been looked at for over a year!) and making the group private, or an update to the group with constant updates about lunar client, not just announcing vault sales.
having a proper telegram channel which is advertised to users in the launcher* could help people from various countries be able to connect with lunar client more. the state of the telegram channel now, simply looks sloppy and disappointing.
anyways, hopefully this suggestion helps you realise that you truly do need to update the telegram channel, my name is snitchy, and thank you for reading.
