ok so the image is hyperbole but like my computer INSTANTLY runs better when i close lunar client and it takes up like half my damn resources when I open it everytime
and the log window is also prone to causing lag spikes ingame for me
no idea how this should be done but it would be convenient

and theres lots of settings in the launcher

I could open the launcher, get 40% usage, launch, close it, close the game later, open it again, get 40% usage, change settings n check log but thats hard

its really well designed and organized but just even poking around the menu is laggy whether it drops my overall performance or not

its actually nothing on my 5700x like 2% cpu usage but it used to be 10-15% on my 2600

wasnt even an issue then but thats really bad

they should make another lunar launcher which is less resource intensive for people to get if they want but keep this as the main one

you can always just launch lunar from the command line and skip the launcher entirely although you'd need to run the launcher to receive any future updates
