introduce a new cosmetic that's a plain cloak with no textures, only difference is that this cloak has a color picker in it's settings (same place you toggle cloth cloak) that allows you to make the cloak any color you want.

yes, pretty much. i earlier suggested that they add support for optifine capes on newer versions, since the cape mods i've tried isn't compatible with lunar. that suggestion got removed though so i guess they wasn't a big fan of that. so why not jsut add their own solid color cape.
