Disable Main Menu Background Animations

I've noticed that the smaller I make my minecraft window size on the main menu, the lower usage the GPU is using. When I'm working on a project that just has minecraft open in the background theres no reason to use almost all my GPU. I would assume this has to do with the background cinematic that plays.

I've attached 2 images one showing my GPU useage when minecraft is on a small window vs full screen.
