The Issue
I’ve noticed that people like me or even some of my friends notice and experience significant FPS drops when viewing capes, especially those with high-resolution designs, moving pixels, or particle effects. For example, when I switch to third-person mode to admire my own cape, my FPS can drop by 50–100 frames, which really impacts gameplay.

Why This Matters
Many people choose Lunar Client specifically for its FPS boost. However, with so many players wearing cosmetics, these beautiful capes can unintentionally reduce performance. Defeating the very reason many of us use Lunar in the first place. Nobody wants to avoid looking at the cape they bought or other players who have a cape, just to protect their FPS.

Proposed Solution
Let’s add a simple Cape Resolution Setting in the Lunar options. This would allow users to lower or raise the resolution of capes based on their PC’s performance and their personal preference. Players with lower-end PCs could reduce the impact on their FPS, while those with higher-end setups could enjoy full quality.

Benefits:
Keeps Lunar’s reputation strong for performance optimization.

Makes sure cosmetics stay enjoyable, not a burden.

Gives players more control over their experience.

Final Thoughts
I love Lunar’s cosmetics and I know I’m not alone. By adding this small tweak, we can make sure everyone gets to enjoy their capes without sacrificing FPS. And in my personal opinion it's a win-win for performance and player satisfaction.
