Premium is simply a term made by people who pirate the game to make it seem more normal or less illegal or smth

therefore a premium Minecraft account would be a legitimately purchased copy of Minecraft which has access to the Launcher, Online/Multiplayer and the ability to create single player worlds without limitations

Mojang/Microsoft themselves refer to it as a "license" or "purchased copy" therefore your logic is significantly flawed. By definition, "Premium" refers to paid, so how is this wrong when in order to get a "licensed" copy, you need to pay? Would you prefer people to say "a licensed copy of Minecraft"? Historically, Mojang offered a copy of the game for free for people to test, therefore the phrase "Premium" was used, It's not wrong in anyway. You can even test the Java Applet on the site yourself which is free, Would you consider that piracy? It's officially considered a "Demo" by Mojang.
