In game version changer

Lunar client should let us change our games version inside the game quickly because every time i am going from my friend's 1.21 world to my other friend's 1.21.4 world, i have to leave minecraft and then go back in.

you can use a mod like viafabric or viafabricplus on 1.21.4 to play on servers of other versions

It's possible but only cheat clients tend to have it

For minor changes such as x.x.y, it's kind of easy as there aren't many changes, but for 1.8 -> 1.20, it's a lot more complex with a lot more overhead

thats why people who want to switch versions should use viafabric or viafabricplus instead
