depends on your version though if you're in newer versions (with fabric) get the continuity mod, if you're in older versions like 1.8.9 just make sure you have options enabled in the optifine settings

For now you can try a texture pack through optifine
Make sure to follow these settings:
Game menu > Options > Video settings > Quality > Connected textures On
