u are using a mod to read out game data that should not be avaible to the player.

This exact feature is one of the oldest features in cheat / hack clients

matter of fact if that is a cheat the the coords hud is also a cheat because it reads out game data and armor hud, and so many other hud options

you can allways see the armor and it has been standarsized in the mc community due to combat flow and many more reasons
you can always see your armor by pressing f5 or the debug menus

meanwhile

a mod showing the inside loot of any kind of chest or shulker without actually opening it is straight up cheating

they could change the ui of it but it would still just open the chest everything else would be cheating

what you could do is:

save the data of the shulker / chest from the last time you opened it and display that

and display that!

your client allways knows the durability and the player does aswell via multiple ways douh not allways
the durability hud does not work with the server its clientside
it does not tamper with packets
its a QOL

meanwhile the "shulker preview mod while placed"

is tampering with the server
its cheating by its definition. your CLIENT cannot know these infos untill opening the chest and receaving the packets from the server
such mod would fake packets and get these infos in a obv "hacky way" since your client cannot know these infos
