I feel like features like Connected Textures, Custom Skies, Custom Models, Better Visuals, etc, are very very useful for a selection of minecraft players, old or new. But unfortunately, these features aren't available easily in the launcher itself and also makes it inconvenient for newer players who got minecraft and wanted to try a popular and useful mod they heard about, OptiFine, in the client they like and soon they realise it is not as easy as they thought. Another point is that the things a person wants to replicate from OptiFine in other mods available on the mods feature in Lunar Clients are quite difficult to find and even if they have the features they want, it can be a bit too storage consuming for them, as OptiFine is a very small mod that people can easily download compared to other mods. Last point, a selection of people like to have a mostly vanilla experience and OptiFine allows to have many features and performance boosting (though it may not be as good as Sodium or other mods) and it makes the game still feel vanilla.
So, as a humble request, I know that it may not be possible because OptiFine will probably not allow this as they have only kept the mod the their own website, never officially posting perhaps the most popular mod on another platform, I wish for this to be possible.
