This is already a thing

#

you can just drag the modpack into that tab

duplicatw suggestion

#

I don't think the loader has modrinth support since the mod pack crashes launching

brittle jungle
jovial cipher
#

they're not fabric mods

brittle jungle
#

idk if lunar supports other modpacks

jovial cipher
#

it doesn't

brittle jungle
#

lunar does support other mod loaders in vanilla launching

jovial cipher
#

that's why it's a suggestion to integrate modrinth support into it

brittle jungle
brittle jungle
jovial cipher
#

exactly

#

idk if I'm not expressing myself well or you're just hard on understanding

brittle jungle
#

so adding “modrinth support” wouldnt fix mod loader issues 💀

jovial cipher
#

you know how modrinth loads mod packs no problem?

#

make their loader do that

brittle jungle
#

modrinth doesnt load modpacks
its a website where you can download them and they also have an app

jovial cipher
#

...

#

have you actually never tried modrinth launcher?

brittle jungle
jovial cipher
#

oh you're right

#

my autocorrect probably switched to that since I've been talking to someone on a similar subject

brittle jungle
jovial cipher
#

I mean add modrinth support

#

like in a way integrate modrinth into their launcher

brittle jungle
jovial cipher
brittle jungle
#

just download the file and drop it into the launcher or copy the url and import that into the modpacks part of the launcher

jovial cipher
#

the mod packs section of the launcher doesn't have an importing option for me

brittle jungle
jovial cipher
#

it only has the option to create a vanilla forge instance and add mods to it if that's what you mean

brittle jungle
#

lunar already allows importing modpacks
adding other mod loaders was already suggested
adding built-in modrinth was already suggested

jovial cipher
#

ah I see

#

then ig no need for this suggestion
