It should be possible to put skins in the client since it would make it easier to not have to go to the official Mojang website to change the skin, it would also help me xd.

This is already a thing, click the "Sking Changer" icon at the bottom fo the main menu when you launch any version.

because that's not in a Launcher, a button of "Skin Change" in Client Launcher, not on a game.
