The reason why players choose two different clients is because of their own characteristics. Forced merging the two clients will definitely cause a large loss of players.

Both clients are insane, but players should also have the right to choose their own clients.

i think the best idea would be:
keep a version of lunar for players to play but will get less updates
keep a version of badlion for players to play but will get less updates
have the merged version (if the merge is to happen) for players to play and recieve more consistant updates as it'd be a bigger focus than the singular badlion or lunar
this'd make it so that people who prefer lunar/badlion could still keep playing it while also letting lunarlion (what im imagining the lunar/badlion merge to be called) get updates as consistant as badlion/lunar was.
