Recently me and some friends were trying to join eachother but one of us was using lunar and wernt able to get essentials working on it. It would be really nice to have essentials work because not everyone who we try to play with use lunar.

when a world is hosted with essential only other essential users can join
when a world is hosted with lunar you can join with lunar, vanilla and bedrock
it just requires setting world privacy to everyone and then you can join with username(dot)lunarclient(dot)world
and if someone joins who is not invited you can kick them

Problem was is that the person who was hosting had this bedwars type thing they made and wanted to play with us, so he kinda had to host it

Ik, im aware the easy solution is to send the world to the player using lunar or for him to use lunar himself, but it would he nice if that wasnt nessecary, feather client has all of these features and supports essentials, it would be nice if lunar also supported essentials

they could also host the world using e4mc which also allows everyone to join (not bedrock though)
and e4mc should work with essential
and lunar and feather

Yeah, im aware that there are various mods that allow server hosting locally, as well as free server hosting like falixnodes, aternos, and minekeep. It just would be a lot easier if essentials was supported
Some of these were not practical for the thing we were doing because we were only getting on it for one round, and installing additional mods or a client would have been too much work for us just joining eachother for a few mins

lunar probably wont add support for essential and feather didnt add support for essential it just worked without and issues iirc

Tbh i kinda think lunar manually disabled essentials cuz when i tried it I uploaded a small modpack with freecam anf stuff, and the only mod that didnt work was essentials, no error message or anything, just didnt work
