I dont see the problem with appimage? its really easy to install
i mean you wont find it as an app on your pc, you will have to manually start it each time but its fine for me
still flatpaks are fav <3
I am not saying for myself I can install it as well but I am talking about the new Linux users who don't want to deal with the terminal and flatpak also has automatic updates so it's better
exactly
this is kewl
Thank you at least someone understand me
I use Arch Linux btw
And also Windows 10 Live support is ending soon and no one has a good PC to install Window 11
I spent 200$ for a upgrade but I love flatpaks
I have been using them for a very long time
Do you Linux or Window if Linux which destro
oh I like linux but sadly since I use old applications that wine doesn't support. I am kind of forced to use windows
I like popos or usually for servers I use ubuntu ( i know bad choice I just like it )
I know I can use a vm but trasferring my files that in total is like 2tb is gonna be really hard. I might take out time for it.
oh yeah true
for me when using the appimage and theres an update
it just puts the new appimage file in some folder
and then i have to find it
Is it cool that if you just install lunar client flatpak version once and when lunar client release an update it just automatically updates don't have to install it again😁
How much up vote is required so the lunar team to add it
there is no real vote requirement for something to be added as far as i can tell
It's not based on up votes or reactions
That sounds way more dramatic than it is
the launcher has a "create desktop entry" option for linux builds
so you can easily launch lunar client without having to use the terminal at all
where do i do that?
in launcher settings, below check for updates
(arm64 linux support would be cool as well)
Again it's better to install lunar client once and then get updates every time flatpsk does has automatic updates just like prism launcher
I just want a flatpak version so I don't have to install the app image every time I want to use an updated version of lunar client
You don't need to keep bumping or replying to your suggestion, we'll see it!
