Or add custom preset feature.
Since 1.21 u cant use lastest version of sodium and sodium extra, Reese's sodium options and iris because of lunar client's preloaded mods.
Because sodium 0.6.9 which is required for other mods to work and have GOOD fps isn't compatible with INDIUM preloaded.
Lunar client doesn't allows to delete preloaded mods from folder, so, there's so solution or u use 1.20.1 mods for 1.21 which will decrease ur fps A BIG AMOUNT.

but ob 1.21 and 1.21.1 its not possible because indium is included in those versions which breaks sodium 0.6.x compatibility so it would be great if lunar just updated sodium on these versions (to at least 0.6.0) and removed indium

viafabric, viafabricplus, viaversion and viabackwards exist (the first 2 are for the client and the other 2 for the server but you only need 1 client or both server mods)

if the servers you play only support 1.20.0/1 why do you ask about 1.21+?

with the viafabric or viafabric plus mod you can join servers of all versions using 1.21.2+ (viafabric can get false-flagged by anticheats so viafabricplus is recommended)

so you can have your mods on 1.21.4 and join most servers

and this would allow you to use the latest version of sodium on lunar as well
