This could be problematic though, because your rendering more entity’s so it could cause strain when other people use the sprays

A single emote renders multiple polygons/objects moving constantly, a spray cosmetic wouldn't be anywhere near as close in terms of how many objects are spawned. Not to mention, we'd likely have an option to disable the cosmetic like we already have for every other cosmetic type.

I don't think a "spray" would cause as much of an issue as you're expecting

If you place a couple item frames down in a singleplayer world it doesn't durstically reduce performance 😭

As I said above too, there'll always be a way to disable cosmetics from being visible on your client and this likely won't be an exception

But you should definitely trust in FX for performance :)
