Add support for Minecraft version 1.16.1

In Minecraft speedrunning, the most popular version for running is 1.16.1 by far due to the nether update and better RNG compared to later versions. Supporting this version would be beneficial since you can easily speedrun worlds with other people without having to play 1.16.5 and installing a datapack to make it more like 1.16.1.

lunar is not allowed for minecraft speedrunning so there is no reason for lunar to add 1.16.1

you can use 1.16.1 in lunars vanilla launching though

It's just easy to host through lunar that's why I am suggesting it for the people who want the option

Datapack does not simulate 1.16.1 exactly, like you can't change the world generation

Plus they are missing out on all the mods that make speedrunning more convenient

yeah but adding 1.16.1 support would only be useful for a few people (if lunar was allowed for speedrunning 1.16.1 should be added but its not)

and i dont think its worth the effort

I was thinking more about how you could host the world through lunar and your friends can join to speedrun, not really solo play

1.17 is still supported because support was added some time ago and its not that difficult for them to maintain 1.17 support

and the few people who want to speedrun on 1.16.1 with lunar can just use 1.16.5 and the datapack you mentioned

Wasn't 1.17 2021? 1.16 was just a year earlier and I think they can still support a version from that time

And I already stated that the datapack cannot simulate 1.16.1 exactly
