likelyhood of users looking at this new channel is slim, theres already a bot dedicated to showing reminders in chat of the linking account promotion. if users aren't keen to simply look at the bot or guide already made, then having a dedicated channel is unnecessary
same in regards to the free cosmetics in the future, constantly updating this when there is a newsletter icon in the launcher (for convience) seems like extra work for the team
