#let people make support tickets without having to make an account

NO!!!
why no?
idk
or ur just a bored contrarian
Yeah
thought as much
Making an account on our support site is a 2 step process that can take under 60 seconds to complete
on their website so i can report a bug
apparently discord tickets are too hard
That is kinda weird
why on earth do i need to create an account to report a fucking bug man
who r u selling my data to
foods good
Give my data to china
surveillance, not so much
right?
like why does everything need a fucking account these days its actually mental

theres legit no need either unless they have some sort of ulterior motives they refuse to disclose
We opt into using a dedicated support website, in this case through the "FreshDesk" service, in order for issues being reported to be stored and managed without the typical limitations offered by a Discord bot. In order for you as a user to report an issue or create a ticket, you need to create an account so that not only can we know who we're talking to, but you can track your own issues by logging in to see responses/status, and to prevent the spam that could happen with a non registration ticket system. There are no "ulterior motives", nor do we collect/sell any data, you can use a completely random name or email if you wish when registering.
doesn't make it any less of an annoying hoop to jump through and why would I take what some random guy says at face value
60 seconds is WAY too long
As I said originally, the process for registering can take under 60 seconds.
You don't have to take what a "random guy" says at face value, read here:

https://support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/196893-data-storage-and-data-security-in-freshdesk
anything can get breached, any company can bs about data protection because no one sues them. that doesn't mean anything
if it was as simple as just putting my discord username or something there'd be no issue
but having to make an account is egregious
i love hibp
What a good website
indeed
At the end of the day it's your choice to use the service or not, but if you want to report an issue then you'll have to do it through the way we have it set up.
If you're worried about data breaches I recommend using password managers and 2FA for everything.
that's not the main issue the main issue is the account requirement but if there's no fix implemented for the bug in a few days I'll use some bs info and do it
stop at this point, you’ve made your argument and it’s been answered. it’s your choice whether you want to make an account or not, it’s not required for the core functionality of Lunar Client. Support is available without an account through #📋︱community-support . If you wish to receive support from an official member of staff, an account is required.
don't talk to me
Did I say I was staff? You're just angry xD
what part of don't talk to me is hard to understand?
let the staff do their jobs
larping as a staff member is sad
so is self inserting into other people's conversations
the "help" you provided isn't even relevant, there were multiple conversations at once, you weren't a part of ANY of them.
maybe think before u speak aye
xaxaxaxaxaxa
xaxaxaxaxa
wow
this is actually so funny
you're not making a point but just being annoying and making a big deal of every single thing you encounter
as soon as you're told it doesn't take a minute to create an account, you play the "they're selling my data" card. google actively has access to your data, so does discord, what are you gonna do? you do realize it's 2025 and there are thousands of temp-mail services you can use for this. it's also a support desk and they don't care about your data
you post a suggestion on a public forum, then go "don't talk to me" on negative feedback, calling everyone a "minimod"/"larping as a staff member". I'm sorry if this is common sense and you're failing to understand it
you cannot expect "discord tickets" from a company at this scale. nowadays any game with a large player base uses a website to handle their support tickets, NOT discord
Vaption u got no chill, but could we close this suggestion
