Alt + tab, check the battery and again Alt + tab
only take 2 seconds dude
now take a guess will i remember to do that ?
i wont
Is it difficult for you to minimize the tab, see the battery and then return to the game?
lunar 1.8 or new versions
for 1.21+ you can use the battery viewer in the dynamic fps mod
u are missing point xd
its ok not everyone was born with sense
bruh how does that make any sense
like you cant remember to switch tab to check battery
but you can remember to look at your battery percentage on your screen?
F11 see to the botton right, f11 again
Not that deep
Why are you all hating on the idea, some people get so in to games they forget to check. It may take 2 seconds but people forget to check. A HUD element allows the user to see it on their screen without having to leave the game making it more convenient. It's like saying why don't you blink as much when looking at a screen, that's something no one remembers to do but we need to blink...
fr, i will never use bc im desktop but i feel for the laptop demons they need to have quality of life catered to them. GIVE THE MAN SOME PERCENTAGE!!
fr lmao, i don’t use a laptop either but I understand why they suggested it
plus it’s like 7 lines of code
its so easy to add
lol ye fr
but its already possible on new versions with /modloading
i guessr a temporary workaround if possible people could download reshade and use the screen cutout
but most people use 1.7/1.8 as pvp is better and the vast majority of laptop users would benefit from it being natively implemented
true
well it might be useful idk
ya
I don't think any competitive player using a laptop would play the game without having the laptop plugged in...
Well no but is it hard to understand that sometimes i forget go out of fullscreen
Ye players who dont have common sence or are just so rich do that. Keeping my laptop charged all the time is not good for a laptop
???
What's your source for that
"The more discharge and recharge cycles a battery goes through, the less it will last."
So it's the exact opposite
Having it plugged in will not only get you more frames and better performance overall, but will also lower the pressure on the battery
This has nothing to do with common sense or being rich, I'm not sure where you're getting that. And I don't remember telling you to keep it plugged in all day. The logic for playing video games with a laptop, is to have it plugged in. It also doesn't matter if it's a normal or "gaming" one
if u play unplugged ur fps will be lower
and if u wanna play mc just keep it plugged
if u wanna see the battery percentage just tab out and look
takes like 2 seconds
xd windows laptops
ok i gotta admit i was wrong partly
whats wrong with those?
Ur stupid asf LOL
this is incredibly stupid as you’re damaging your components with excessive heat, you’re overcharging a lithium battery which could start to leak and explode, as well as wasting electricity at a time of high costs
Judging by this, I highly doubt if you've ever played games on a laptop
- You cannot overcharge laptop batteries. All modern laptops prevent charging when it reaches the capacity.
- Having your laptop plugged in while gaming has nothing to do with heat. Playing games on a laptop will indeed require a cool pad. Minecraft is kind of an exception here. Unless you're running shaders on your laptop, which you shouldn't in the first place.
- Laptop battery leaks, as far as I know, are extremely rare, and the reason to them is overheating. Which again, the user is responsible to control it.
- What's the logic for wasting electricity and high costs? You're saying if you have your laptop plugged in and use it for a 3-hour gaming session, you'll use more electricity than if you played on battery and then plugged it in to charge it back?!
Ask anyone who plays game to a somewhat professional/competitive level on a laptop and see if they play on battery power.. no one does. Also laptop batteries are replaceable and they're expected to have a lifespan of 3 to 4 years before you have to replace them. Exceptions happen, but that's the optimal expectation.
