hear me out okay what if lunar client added an easily installable speedrunning client modpack because like rn its really irritating and it takes so long to like get all of those mods together in like for example multimc (they have to do it so its not against the mc speedrunning rules tho)

it contains all legal mods for different categories and updated versions

it even installs them for you if you provide the instance directory

they’re just a different breed, your definition of legitimate gameplay is different to theirs. They are using what appears to be world generators to speed up the boring parts of speed running which is “allowed” however I do agree with you that it doesn’t make sense. I see their point of view but in my opinion generating multiple worlds at a time should be considered cheating as it’s automating the initial part of the run, getting lucky with a good spawn and seed.

not everyone knows or cares about speedrunning, you’re just plainly being toxic to someone outside of your minority community who doesn’t understand the rules relating to it

because the mods that are allowed dont provide advantages

they are optimization mods, mods that allow you to reset faster the speedrun timer and other similar mods
