I'm a horrendous person, I know. I use WS/CV for movement and MB4 for jump. But what if there was a way to switch between using the normal 1-9 keys for hotbar and using R for slot 6 and F for slot 7 or MB5 for slot 8?
I'd like to introduce my concept of a Keybind Switcher. This mod would use the same keybinding method that other mods use, except there will be layout groups, as shown in the image below. This would help for people who use a bunch of keybinds and want to switch between them without having to manually reassign keys.

This would be a dream come true for me, I use diff keybinds for lots of diff things (survival, CPVP, UHC, etc.) and it is a hige pain to redo them whenever I change something.

I guess this would be cool but its extremely niche

I think you're mostly just lazy

just stick to set keybinds and use every key within your fingers grasp
