some clients like BLC don’t lag at all when changing packs and lunar uses the vanilla implementation. they could hypothetically rewrite it to be better. From an observer perspective, the time it would cost negates any real world benefits and usage. However packmakers and people who constantly switch packs would benefit significantly from this being optimised.

It doesnt

I literally have a 4070

#

Everytime I click on resource pack

It doesn't load and Idk if it will load bc I've just wasted 3 mins

and I have to restart my game

I tested it with multiple clients

all of them take like 10seconds to load

yet lunar doesnt
