The hypixel skyblock features are excellent, and I'm impressed upon reading the recent update. However, M7 dragon timers shouldn't have been made. As a skyblock player, reaching M7 requires more than hundreds of hours, in which dozens of mods are used since their development has started many, many years ago which means they have more features. In addition, most M7 players believe it or not cheat, which means the M7 or higher level dungeons appeal to Lunar isn't very big. Lunar Client should prioritize making as many people transfer over to it first before making extremely niche features like an M7 dragon timer since its essentially wasted development effort. For example, dungeon secrets were a great addition since all dungeons have secrets, meaning that almost brand new players can use that feature. A player with many hundreds of hours will be extremely unlikely to use Lunar Client for M7 unless many, many other features are added to increase the userbase which is what should happen. Great job though.

TLDR: SkyBlock Development should prioritize increasing the player base and not extremely niche features unlikely to be used
note that I kind of passively aggressively phrased it and I didn’t mean to, look at my bottom comments in this thread since theyre more clear.

M7 features were one of the most requested feature we've received recently hence why it was added.

What features do you have in mind?

That’s pretty interesting as the vast majority of M7 players I know would be using several mods with each of them having a lot of features so they get niche ones like a dungeon score calculator (not sure if lunar offers this) or a gyro wand display

Essentially Lunar would need to expand its player base which means incorporating those features that are spread out across maybe 7-8 different mods on forge (which I wont name but if you ask an m7 player on a skyblock discord they’ll tell you) into one package, which is clearly your guys’s goal which is good. I also have to add that most advanced dungeon players use the best solvers even if it requires downloading a separate mod, even though a basic mod might offer them. An example of this is a water puzzle solver which makes it so you don’t have to actually set each combination but you can do it in one fluid (see what I did there) sequence which is an active case of this occurrence. You could also look at a blaze puzzle solver which draws a line between blazes, which also exists. The list basically goes on but you get the point, if all these niches were put into one package like Lunar did with hypixel mods then it would be exceptional.

However this is going to be a tedious project and the amount of players that play m7 compared to the rest of skyblock is very small, since you can genuinely spend well over a hundred hours and not be close in skill, gear, or requirement to run m7 without being carried. Adding more features in major player “clouds” like farming and mining will draw more players in, and some of these players might become m7 players later down the line since farming and mining have a much lower barrier of entry to m7, or master mode in general because they’re already loyal Lunar Skyblock users. Note that you can also spend a lot of time mastering farming and mining and there’s a lot of content for mining particularly but the meta for them doesn’t change nearly as often as for dungeons.

Overall I’d suggest talking to M7 players, mainly current but also a little bit of previous to see what mods they use along with what they think about Lunar and Skyblock as a whole and in the context of sweaty dungeons and to look at Skyblock progression overall, since this will help Lunar target and expand its player base which is what it needs. Adding M7 features is amazing, but to catch hyper competitive players’ attention away from many forge mods is going to take time and effort, which i’m sure you guys can pull off but it’d be better looking at “the lower layers of the pyramid” where the most players are and keeping in mind that if these players use Lunar Skyblock they’ll keep using it for other things like M7 if you will.

dang that was long but yeah good luck have a fun time
