basically the premise was if you have a shield in offhand, it would be invisible and the slot would be too next to the hotbar. And if you block and we’re holding a sword in your Mainhand, it would block like it did in 1.8.

I have the code to do this in 1.21, else if you need the blocking position values, you can find them in the first few 1.9 snapshots before shields were added
