Hello Lunar Client members and staff. I am writing this out of a pure desperation to gain six thousand xp quick. Now, I know you may think this post is simply for shenanigans, but I can assure you that it is not. You see I, Oqau, am not only desperate for six thousand xp, I am also desperate to make this server a better place for the members. For too long we have been stuck with hoarding our xp, and I think it is about due time this changes. I believe that the lovely staff of this "server" should be so kind as to enable us members to share our xp. This change will allow every day members to bequeath our xp to others who may want it more than ourselves. Additionally, it will set up the Lunar Client Server to have a "healthy" economy, promoting more activity.

but wouldn't this defeat the purpose of why XP systems were designed?
its to show milestones of a players participation within the specified server, and If they can have it just gifted to them it completely destroys the entire purpose of the system to begin with?

You guys act like experience is something of importance to obtain, but by suggesting something of this nature, your actually devaluing the one thing your attempting to value?

I understand your suggestion, but I don't think you properly understand its intention or purpose when suggesting this, or how it impacts.

personally I don't care.
I am just stating the fact of the intention behind what its supposed to represent and do, and by doing this its just simply making its more useless and will actually most likely remove more features away that you guys want the XP for, since it tremendously devalues it.
Therefore kinda hindering the desires more then actually benefiting it.

Think about it; Its supposed to indicate a players activity, but if a Player with 1 hours activity has more XP then a player with 410 days activity, how does that make sense? It simply wouldn't it would become an external currency which would then force Lunar to be obligated to legally monitor selling/buying of XP for real world cash between players, which could further lead to scams, which could additionally lead to bot accounts, and further issues that creates tremendous issues, which would then push a development team to remove rewards that XP provide to reduce these issues on their moderation team.

The only way something of this nature would make sense is to also remove any ability to redeem anything with the XP on top of it.

Yeah sharing XP wont be added, to many risks of people just abusing by the use of alts which would lead to problems. But thank you for your suggestion!
