1. Button called "check for updates" in the mod menu in the launcher to check for available updates for mods and a button to automatically update.
2. Ability to check for "Release, Beta or Alpha" versions of mods.

i meant as added mods by the user on lunar client versions

im still setting up, havent played in 2 months

Most mods don't contain links to their mod provider like modrinth, which can make this hard to check

Other launchers like prism have a button that will find the mods on modrinth or other curse forge and then update them. But I don't really know how that works and I guess it does reduce the pay for mod developers due to not going to the modrinth website

maybe if a mod is available on both, the client recommends modrinth instead?
