Make only essentials mods be on Lunar and make all of no esseitnals mods like Hit Color not downloaded and if you want to use it you have to install it in Lunar GUI and you can uninstall it anytime so you wont have 100 mods when you only use 10 of them. It might boost FPS and would free some space.

There would be Install button on not essentials mods and when you click it you wait for like 10 secs and its done, you can use it and uninstall it anytime to free some space for other mods. In this way you can add as much mods to Client (devs) and it wont make client have bad fps etc. bc you have to download each not essential mod.

Good idea or no? I think its good idea!

No, because that's not how it works:

  1. Most lunar mods are hardcoded into it, except for something like replay mod that's loaded separately but also integrated into lunar. Removing them from the main code barely (probably as in bytes/kilobytes) helps with storage space.
  2. What you call "essential" may not be used by another user at all. Therefore you can't really tell which lunar mod(s) can be prioritized over another. Even the usage of analytics data that shows which lunar mods are used the most (if exists) isn't going to work. No, I don't play Skyblock.
  3. Some mods will require a relaunch to be loaded by the game this way, which just makes the process longer for a new user.
  4. Once you disable a lunar mod, it no longer affects your game. Therefore, this doesn't help with optimization.
  5. You can already move the mods to your preference in the mod menu by holding your mouse button and moving the mod around. If you could favorite mods instead, that'd make more sense rather than completely getting rid of them.
  6. You'd need internet connection to download those mods now, which basically means if that specific server is down, user experience is ruined.

Overall performance on Lunar Client should always match or exceed vanilla minecraft's performance. If it's not like that for you, you can contact support.
