like in feather client, make it so with a push of a key you can swap your elytra with your chestplate or vise versa. No matter where it is placed in your inv.

I just worry about it being called to unorthodox to the point where some may call it a cheat. I get the intentions and if its like singleplayer I fully get that (I am fine with Keep Inventory Personally) but on servers it may be a little bit to powerful for combat. I like the suggestion, but I'm not so sure on servers being ok with it and not banning ya for it.
