Almost everyone uses resource packs to play Minecraft, doesn't matter what version.
ResourcePacks is also owned by Lunar Client's parent company, Moonsworth, making the integration with Lunar Client much more suitable.
Here's how I think it should be implemented:
- In the Resource Pack settings, there would be a button
- either a small one with a ⬇️ icon, or
- large one with "Download Packs" text.
- It takes you to a menu where there would be a list of resource packs you can download.
- The Resource Pack store UI can be made similar to the Microsoft Store UI where it shows the pictures of the pack to showcase it, as well as a description, but respective to minecraft UI as well.
- There can be a ⬇️ icon overlay on pack icon in pack store like the ▶️ icon on the pack icon on the RP selection page.
- Clicking on the pack icon will start downloading the pack and will put the pack in the pack folder.
Here's why I think it should be a great addition:
This feature would make it easier for players to find and use resource packs, especially for those using Lunar Client. By adding a store for resource packs directly into the client, players could quickly download and install packs without needing to search online. The familiar design would be easy for users to understand, and the simple download process would make it more likely that players would customize their game.
