Add support for custom textures for items and blocks. As in recent versions such as 1.20, but for version 1.8. Simply define an NBT in the item / block / entity or a special name in the title of a gui (cf item adder) and the client will replace the original texture with one from a resource pack. And why not add support for custom Models for Items, Blocks and Entities in the future? This would give a second breath to servers that are below 1.16 and allow the pvp community that has remained in 1.7 / 1.8 to benefit from this big update that has been proposed by mojang!
