Mojang has changed the Java Version from Java 17 to Java 21 in 1.20.5+

Java 21 is not Compatible with Macs that use MacOS 11 or older

this means that you have to update to MacOS 12 or newer if youre device supports that MacOS Verion

Otherwise you have to get a new Device if you want to continue getting Minecraft Updates

Well, Mojang wants to move on to a newer Java Version, so they can use the new Java Features and Stability Improvments that Java 21 has to offer, even if Minecraft runs well on Older Macs.

What I'm saying is, java 21 and minecraft 1.20.6 lunar work perfectly, it is just 1.21 that isn't working. I don't know anything about programming but since java 21 is compatible with my device, 1.21 on lunar should be able to work
