Changing version problem

Every time I change the version I have to set the graphics in minecraft!!! Please add something useful!(1.8.9 lowest graphics but 1.20.4 moderate graphics)disjdndksndnd

When i play 1.8.9 my graphic is lowest

But i change to 1.20.4 to play smp servers i want high graphic

So i setting in game again and again

on 1.8.9 he want to use lowest settings

and on 1.20.4 he want to use high settings
