This is a mod that lets you search keys and keybinds in the controlling-settings. It is very popular and we already have a searchbar for resourcepacks so why not. Plus, the mod is currently only available for versions above 1.8.9. thank you

the be honest,controlling itself is avalible for 1.8.9, BUT a required mod named "searchables" is not
