Lunar Client should add a Console when you host a world, that way, you can still be hosting a world WITHOUT being online in Minecraft when you don't have time to play.
Please consider it: Players don't need to be online in that Minecraft world (that is being hosted) to play, they should have the option to use a console to expand the performance of Hosted Worlds. In addition, people can be offline and still be able to host the world for their friends, it's like a free Minecraft server that you can run!
Furthurmore, they should give you a server IP when you host that world so that hosted world is a server that will be ran professionally.
You can enter the server IP to "ADD SERVER" and join the server to have fun!
Basically Mini Built-In Free Servers will improve the concept of HOSTED WORLDS

Not bad

#

Keep in mind hosted worlds is a mod that lunar has downloaded and integrated into lunar so there is only so much that they can do

Thanks!

#

They should make it their own unique console to improve the Hosted worlds into FREE HOSTED SERVERS

hosted worlds are not not a server hosting bro

#

You can enter the server IP to "ADD SERVER" and join the server to have fun! you have to host a server, i think hosted worlds are hosted on your computer, so if ur computer is off, how is the server going to work if the computer is off?

#

free hosted worlds servers aren't easy to make

#

if you want this, you have to buy an ip(server) and then make a server and play with your friends

True

yes and as far as I know you would normally have to open a port in the router for a Minecraft server

But that would cost lunar money.

Or it would be a feature only for lunar plus players

few things worth mentioning:

  1. Based on what Colin said previously regarding hosted worlds,

"our implementation is entirely created by us - additionally, it's designed to not expose IPs, so there's no risk associated with joining someone's world"
Iirc (I repeat, iirc) this is the opposite of what Essential does/used to do, which is to expose IPs upon joining someone's world.

  1. Afaik (I repeat, afaik) the fabric/forge mod "World Host" uses domains (so probably does port forwarding, this may be just an option within the mod, but I've seen some domain names you could add to your serverlist) and that's not how hosted worlds work on Lunar. It's more similar to what Essential does, rather than that mod.

  2. The suggestion is probably doable if the "launcher" handles hosted worlds instead of the game, as it runs in the background. Doubt if keeping a console window is a good idea to keep the world online & joinable.
