Ability to choose pet's state

Users should be able to choose what state their pet is in (e.g. for butterflies which change colours based on biome, users should be able to choose to override that since they have purchased the pet...).
(images attached show dif biomes, blue = ocean, red + orange + yellow = plains biome, i cant find the red + green + yellow pic or biome but it exists)
