remove .zip from texture packs

this is really minimal, but i think removing the ".zip" at the end of the name of texture packs would be really nice. obviously this would just be a visual change

I dont think it makes a difference, I think loading times are dependant on your PC, i dont have any trouble loading packs in a few seconds zip or unzip, when i load 2048x packs then yeah it takes a few minutes but thats expected, I dont have a Nasa PC

no it doesnt, it takes like 3 seconds for me to render a 16x zipped or unzipped, I do that with a 2048 and it takes about 5 mins... thats coz its got to render more pixels per block, File type doesnt matter

people use zip to pervent corrution on files and to to shrink the folder down so its quicker and takes less space to store

This would also be possible but you can also unzip your texture pack then it wouldn't say .zip there either, why is it there because RECOURSE PACKS can be displayed in zip as well as in normal folders but i like the idea
